God calls us to be good stewards of his creation. We want to share our resources with each other, with those in need, and our wider community.
We have a building which we use for our various activities and events. As part of this call it is also available for our wider community to use (subject to availability, and compatibility with what we are about, of course.)
Uses have included birthday parties, weddings, funerals, association and club meetings, school groups, study groups, family get togethers and more.
The recently renovated, carpeted and flexibly laid out building has several rooms suitable for groups from 8 to 150 people (with seating, tables, data projector and sound system if required), a new kitchen, play spaces for kids, and a an upstairs café/lounge area.
We charge very reasonable rates for community use and private functions (the hall is not available for commercial usage). Non-profit groups and organisations will need to provide their own liability insurance or purchase it through us.
Accessibility for disabled visitors
Please note that our building has a wheelchair accessible ramp on the Hill St entrance, and can also be accessed via wheelchair via the main Barton St entrance (note there is a high gate at this entrance and bumpy brickwork so assistance may be required). Both male and female toilets are wheelchair accessible (you may require assistance with the entry doors).
Alas our upstairs area is NOT accessible (two flights of several steep stairs) however it’s not used for general church events.
