HWBC Camp 2018

The weekend of May 25-27 2018, our church will gather at Upper Plenty Conference Centre.

Why come to the HWBC Camp?

God’s very nature is relationship, and God desires good relationships with us and between us. Relationships are best built through time spent together, in fun times and challenges, and through understanding more about the other.
Come for a weekend away to have some fun, grow in wisdom, and to connect more with God and one another.

Who Can Come?

All are welcome! All HWBC regulars are strongly encouraged to make the effort to be there.

How Much Will It Cost?

Registration varies depending on the camp venue chosen each year. Costs for this year’s camp are:
$120 for adults and high school-aged campers
$100 for primary school-aged campers
Free for pre-school and younger.

NOTE: Final amount due will be reduced if we get more than 50 full-time registrations. Encourage everyone to come!

You can pay by direct deposit or cash prior to the camp. Payment details will be automatically emailed to you when you send in your registration.

If you are only planning to come for part of the time, please register using the link above, and note when you will be there, and then contact Connie for the adjusted total amount before paying.

Costs include all food, accommodation in heated rooms and facilities. We will coordinate transport to get everyone there so when registering you can indicate whether you need a lift or can take others.

If you want to come but need financial assistance, please contact Connie on ministry@hwbc.org.au or 0408484155

When Does it Start?

Arrival and check in is from 7pm Friday (NB there are no food outlets close to the venue – the nearest town is Whittlesea).
Welcome activities will start at 9pm, so please try to be there and ready to participate by that time.

We will finish at 2pm on Sunday after lunch.

What Will We Do?

Activities for the weekend may include (subject to weather): bonfire time, archery, teaching/workshops, crafts, tennis, basketball, indoor rock climbing, a bush dance, worship, board/card games, siesta time and bushwalking.

We are still planning the camp so suggestions and ideas are really welcome.
